The 1914 Sanremo saw riders from outside Europe participate for the first time. Above left (seated) 1907 Paris Robaix winner Georges Passerieu with the Australians Ivor "Snowy" Munroe, Charles Piercey and Donald Kirkham. All three Australian riders finished.
