Tuesday 28th October 2014 - A meeting was held between the Mayor of Sanremo, Council members and RCS Sport Head of Cycling, Mauro Vegni. Its purpose was to open the way for "La Primavera" to once again finish on the famous via Roma, last used in 2007. It was confirmed that there is a possibility of a return, but this will be decided in a few weeks during another meeting with the organisers RCS.
Update 25 November - Official announcement that Milano-Sanremo will finish on the via Roma in 2015.
